I go where the story takes me.
Often on a road both brutal and beautiful.
Never knowing which is around the corner.
After long conversations with quirky characters.
Over a spot of hot Earl Grey tea.

Born British-American in East London, Gavin Cash Brown currently resides mostly behind a computer screen in the occasional comforts of southern California. He holds several degrees in English, Creative Writing, and British Literature. Naturally, he works partially as a professor and admittedly can be accused of professing too much, such as here. He has interests in linguistics, history, and popular culture, which heavily influence his writing.
In Light of Moon and Sun is his first published novel, inspired by the planetary romances, fantasy, and science fiction he read in his younger years.

The works presented here are poetry. If you like it... good! Love it? Even better! If you hate it... that's okay, too! And if you get offended... well... at least you know you're alive.
Shorts:
The works presented here are fiction. Any semblance they have to reality is a coincidence and not at all intentional.
